Drake having fun.

So Drake has been a lot of fun lately. He is constantly cracking Chris and I up so here are some pictures and videos of what he has been doing.

Drake loves to peek out the door and watch what is going on outside. He also loves to wait for his dad to come home. Isn't this the best greeting that you can think of?

Drake getting ready play with his toys.

Bath time! The bottom picture is him splashing and playing - he gets so excited when we put him in the bath.

So Drakes new thing is to crawl under our entertainment center to get toys or the cords under there (I am trying to teach him not to play with those cords -but he won't listen). In the top picture Drake somehow wedged himself between the leg of the entertainment center and the wall. It was so funny - he couldn't get himself out so I came to the rescue.

Here is Drake eating - which he is starting to be a stinker about. If you look closely you can see all 4 of his teeth.

Drake really is my child!!! For those of you who know me well - I used to always walk around with my socks like this and everyone would make fun of me. I guess this is what I passed down to Drake.

Drake likes to drive his Jeep around our house and he is getting really good at it. He now is able to stand behind the Jeep and walk behind it - he is growing up way too fast.

For Chris's birthday he got a pizza stone and pizza peel. This weekend he made some homemade pizza and it was delicious! Yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!! If anyone is interested in a pizza party - we are ready for it.

Fruit, Fruit and more Fruit

One of the perks the comes with making your own baby food is all the fruit that you have. We have so much fruit right now it is overflowing. It is nice because you are force to eat healthy when you are wanting your child to eat healthy. So thanks Drake!

Here are some pics of Drake eating a teething biscuit. He was loving this - but it is so gross and messy!!!

A Great Weekend!!!

So Chris had a couple tests last week so he had a pretty lax weekend. We took advantage and tried to spend as much time with him as possible. We took lots of walks, ran errands and hung out with some friends. Here are some pictures of our fun at the park.

My happy boy.

Drake swinging with Dad and his friend Oliver.

Drake and Oliver.

Look how cute they are. They kind of even look alike.

While I was making dinner Drake was exploring and decided to crawl under our dining table where he high centered and was stuck. It was super funny!

If you want to see more pics of Drake and Oliver there is a really cute picture of Drake hugging Oliver on the Wheatley's blog at http://wisconsinwheatleys.blogspot.com.

Sushi!!!!

Chris and I love sushi and have been seriously deprived the last month that we have been here. We were spoiled with sushi this summer before we moved to Wisconsin. Our brother-in-law is a amazing sushi chef in Park City, Utah and he would let Chris and I (and the rest of the fam) come up to his restaurant for amazing sushi. Right before we left we went up a ton so we could get our fill. Both Chris and I have been craving his sushi and since we can't afford to go out to sushi we did the next best thing. We made some. Chris has made it before and was taught by the best so it was really good. We had to just do the basics of course but it is better than nothing.

The Big 25

Happy Birthday Chris!

Today is Chris's 25th birthday and it was so much fun. Well - not really. It is test week this coming week for Chris so he has basically spent all day studying. He did come home for dinner so Drake and I got to hang out with him for a little bit. He asked for home make Cafe Rio salads with pork - which was my first time making it and it was a success. He also wanted a pound cake - which is the same cake that he asks for every year. That recipe is super good so I was excited to make that. Other than that his big day wasn't all that big - but Drake had fun with him.

Happy Birthday Chris. I love you and am so proud of you!!!
