Just Hanging Out

Here are just some random pics.  Nothing too special, just us having some plain old fun at home!

Batman!!!!

Sonja has quickly figured out how to pull herself up to a stand.  Now her favorite spot is standing at the train table to see what Drake is up to.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to all the amazing dad's out there.  I am so lucky to be surrounded by such loving and dedicated father's!  Chris has exceeded my expectations in his fatherhood.  He is so amazing, loving and supportive.  Drake and Sonja are so lucky to have him as a father.  It is so fun to watch Chris's relationship grow with each of our kids everyday.  Thank you Chris for everything you do for our family.  We appreciate your hard work and how well you manage your time so you can spend time with us!
Drake wanted to paint a picture for Chris so his is the yellow and red one and then I helped Sonja do the pink and purple one.

I also want to thank my dad for being the wonderful father he is. I wholeheartedly agree that a dad is a daughter's first love because my dad is definitely mine.  I love you Dad!  I am also lucky to have Doug (Chris's dad) in my life.  He is a loving and supportive father to Chris and he has always made me feel loved and welcomed in the Anderson family.  Thanks Doug!  We love you!

Road Trip - Mall of America

After we parted ways with the Anderson's, Chris and I decided to drive through Yellowstone one last time.  We did a little hike, had some lunch and were on our way.  We drove through Montana, North Dakota (boring!) and Minneapolis before finally getting home.  Whew!  That was a super fun road trip but it is good to be home!  Now we are headed back out to Utah in July but we won't be making a huge road trip out of it this time.  We are so excited we get to spend some more time with our families though!

These next few pics are from Theodore Roosevelt National Park.  I have to say that after being in Yellowstone, this park was not very impressive.  But it was nice to break up our day of driving a little bit.

Next up is Mall of America.  This mall was so cool.  Unfortunately not really fun for our kids.  Drake was just barely to small to ride the rides at their little amusement park.  They had a few rides that he could have ridden but they looked pretty lame and was kind of pricey so we decided to pass.  We did take Drake to their aquarium though and he thought that was pretty cool.
shark fin.

The Lego Store.  Everything above our heads are made from Lego's.  Drake thought it was pretty awesome.

My beautiful baby!

Road Trip - Yellowstone

We made it to Yellowstone!  I hadn't been up there since I was in elementary school and Chris had never been there, so we were super excited to go.  We were able to go with the Anderson clan and it was so much fun!  Drake loves playing with all his cousins so he thought this was awesome.
Look at that cute baby buffalo!

Drake and Heidi

Sonja loves to blow bubbles, she does it all the time and it is so funny!

Pappy and the boys!

waiting for Old Faithful to go off

Nani and Pappy with 7 out of the 12 grand kids.

It is kinda hard to see but that is bear.  Yep, we saw a bear and Drake slept right through it.

4-wheelen!

Outside the cabin we stayed at.

Whew!  We are almost done with the road trip.  A few more pics of Yellowstone to come and then off to Mall of America!

Road Trip - Hanging out in SLC

For some reason we didn't get much pictures when we were in Salt Lake.  We were picture crazy on the road but of course relaxed a bit when we were just hanging with our families.  Anyways, here are a few.

This is my friend Destrie's little boy.  He is super cute and of course bigger than Sonja even though she is almost 3 months older than him.  She is just so tiny!  But I love it!
 Cousin love:
My mom, sister, Chris and I took the kids to City Creek to let them play in the fountains.  They had a lot of fun!

Plumbers!!!!

They are sitting in the sun trying to get warm. so cute!

Cute Emie and Bayla!

Well, next up Yellowstone with the Anderson's!
