Christmas Concert!

 Drake had his first school Christmas Concert this year.  His class put on a little concert where they sang about 5 songs and then had a little party afterward.  Drake absolutely loves school and all his little friends there and was super excited for Chris and I to come to the concert.  He has been singing all the songs non-stop around the house for weeks (our favorite is Away in the Manger because he gets this small, sweet, really high voice when he sings it).  Of course at the actual concert he only sang a few of the songs.  The rest of the time he was busy looking around or laughing with his friends (little stinker!).  It was still so cute and fun to watch.

My 4 Year Old Super Hero

 I can't believe I have a 4 year old!  Wow!  Well, Drake is obsessed with super hero's.  Any super hero really.  So we decided to do a batman themed party for him.  He invited about 10 friends.  All boys except one girl (yep, Drake has a girlfriend, haha).  It was a somewhat chaotic party but also really fun.  We did pin the bat on batman, the kids got to decorate their own cape, and they got to go through a small obstacle course to save a lady (one of Sonja's dolls).  His party was on Saturday, so today we just hung out, went out to lunch, took Drake to a movie and made his favorite dinner of shrimp and noodles.  All in all, I think he had a pretty good birthday.  :)

One Big Halloween Post

 Whew!  Halloween was so busy this year!  We have had a fun, busy last couple weeks.  Drake has been so into Halloween this year so that has been really fun.  He decided to be Flash this year. He is so into superhero's and so Chris's mom made his Flash costume for him and Drake was so excited!  Sonja actually had two costumes this year.  Mainly she was a goldfish which was my nieces costume and they were nice enough to let us use it. And then Chris's sister made her a little batman shirt and skirt so we had her dress up in that too.  Actually today was Drake's school Halloween party and I wasn't going to dress Sonja up but Drake told me she had to wear a costume too.  Haha, he is such a good brother!   And Sonja looked so cute in both the costumes! 

These  next three pictures was from a couple weeks ago when we went to a party at our gym.  This was the first time Drake could wear his costume so he was so excited!

At MCW (Chris's school) for their trick or treat. This is the best one ever because it is inside, they get tons of candy and it is just so fun!  In this pic is Drake and Sonja's friends Oliver, Hazel, Jackson and Mason.

Go Packers!

 We finally decided that we just needed to go for it and go to a Packer's Game.  I know that if we do move away next year and didn't go to a game we would definitely regret it.  I am so glad we went.  It was so much fun!  It was really cool to be there in person and to be apart of the whole experience.  It was  a little chilly, especially since the sun never hit the part of the field that we were on, but at least it wasn't raining or snowing.

Drake Fun Days

 A couple weeks ago we had a groupon for ice skating and decided to take Drake.  We left Sonja with some friends and had some much needed Drake time!  Drake was so funny trying to ice skate.  He had a ton of fun but mostly just liked to be silly and slip on the ice.  Towards the end he was making some progress though!

 Today Drake and Chris had some father/son time and went to Lowe's for their little craft time thing.  They made a monster box which is really cute!
