Two months old

Two months.....WOW!!! Where has the time gone? Drake is now 9 weeks, and he had his two month checkup this week. He has gained over 2 pounds and grown 3 inches since he was born; he is now 10lbs 6oz and 23 inches. Smiling for Drake is easy, smiling is his favorite. He is talking up a storm, in his own language of course, especially while he eats. Drake is good to us at night, sometimes he will only wake to feed once, although it is more commonly 2-3 times. He is growing and changing every day and we can already tell he will be a mover and a shaker. Stay tuned for more Drake news......

It's Official!

We finally know for sure where we are moving too!!! Chris was accepted to a couple medical schools, and wait listed at a couple more, but Chris and I finally made our decision. We have been leaning this way for a while, but wanted to hear back from all the schools before we made our final decision. Milwaukee, here we come. Chris was accepted to the Medical School of Wisconsin the day after Drake was born. We are super excited to move and have a little adventure of our own! School starts the first week of August, so it looks like we will be moving sometime in July. We are planning a little trip out there in June so we can look around for places to live. Congrats Chris! All of your hard work has paid off! I am so proud of you!

A day in the life of Drake.

I am 6 1/2 weeks old now and getting stronger every day! I can hold my head up all by myself, but i sometimes do the bobbly head so I can head but whoever is holding me. I now smile all the time, especially when my daddy gets home from work! I love to sit up and look around like a big boy. Laying on my back all day is very boring. I don't mind tummy time, but after awhile I get frustrated and need my mom to help me roll over. I love to stare at people or just off into space. Bath time is alot of fun, I don't even mind the cold when they put lotion on me. I let my mom get some sleep during the night by going in between feedings for one 5 hour period and then the rest of the night I am back to 3 hours in between. I don't mind sleeping in my crib during the night, but in the day I hate being put in there. I want to be around everyone and included in what is going on. I already have some nick names - Drakster, Drakey poopy pants and sweets. Thats my life right now, we will update you some more in a couple weeks!
