First Day of Kindergarten!
Drake started Kindergarten today. He was so excited! It is so cute to see him so happy and excited about things. Kindergarten in Indiana is all day so he was so happy that he would get to eat lunch at school! And he gets to ride the bus! He is getting so old! I am so not ready for this new chapter in our lives.

Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Chris's work gave free tickets to go see the cars practicing for the Brickyard so we decided to take the kids and check it out. Drake has been asking to go see a race for a while now so we knew he would be super excited. When we got there it was so loud! Even with ear plugs in. Drake and Sonja loved watching the cars and probably could have sat there longer if we let them. There was a fun kids area there that had all sorts of fun things for the kids to do and we ended up staying at the kids area for a couple hours. It was such a fun day! Drake and Sonja have been asking to go back every day since then.

Lucy's First Birthday
I can't believe my sweet baby is one! She is my little buddy and I don't remember what this family was like before her. She is very serious and I can already tell she will be somewhat shy. She is also a happy giggly little thing. She loves food and is still not so sure about sippy cups. And she is such a cuddly little thing. I love it! Here are couple video's of her eating her cake. I had to post two because I just think they are so cute and hilarious.
