Funny Drake

I thought I would share some funny stories about Drake so I don't forget them:

~ Chris - "Drake you are in big trouble!"
Drake - "I am not in big trouble dad, I am little!"

~ We started Drake in swim lessons and on his first day we walked him to his teacher and then turned to leave. We looked back and saw Drake's teacher talking to him with a confused look on her face. She kept looking at her roster and then she turned to ask a different teacher a question. We walked back in and find out that she asked Drake his name and he told her Maximus (the horse from Tangled). Needless to say we had to have a talk with Drake about how we have to use our real names when people ask us our names.

~Also in swim lessons there are 5 kids in his class. The kids were supposed to stand on the side and sing a song, at a certain point in the song the teacher pointed to one of the kids and he/she would then jump into the pool. Of course, Drake decides he doesn't need to wait and he jumps in when it was someone else's turn. That stinker! He was fine, just under the water for a few seconds until the teacher got to him. He didn't even suck in any water. When he got back to the side of the pool he said, "I just wanted to jump in mom!"

~ The other day Drake was down for a nap. I peaked my head in to check on him and I couldn't see him on his bed. I started to panic and looked under his bed, in Sonja's crib, but he wasn't anywhere. Then I heard this little sigh, I look down and there he is, dead asleep in his toy box. He moved his toys out (there weren't much in there) and climbed in with his stuffed animals. What a weirdo!

~Drake loves to put his socks on his hands. He is obsessed. He will put striped ones on his hands and say his a tiger. White ones and he is a mad guy (that is what he calls the guys that chase Flynn Ryder in Tangled). Red ones and he is Mr. Incredible. And the list goes on.

~This isn't a funny story, just something I am proud of. For Valentines Day I asked Drake to write something for Dad. He decided he wanted to write "I Love You Dad". I of course had to tell him what letters to write but he drew the letters all on his own! I know it is kind of hard to tell what he wrote, but I am still super proud of him! (I love the tiny D in Dad, kind of funny).
